Korean Longevity Naengmyeon

A famous Korean food, Mul Naengmyeon takes many of the healthiest ingredients possible and puts them together in one bowl. The soup-based for this dish is packed with nutrients and easy to digest so your body can absorb and utilize all of the nutrients more easily. The best part about these recipes is that the focus is still on taste, so you’re getting a detox dose of vitamins and minerals without having to suffer through it.

 

Yield: 2-3 servings 

Ingredients:-

For marinated radish
• ½ medium-sized Korean radish

• 3 tablespoons Biogreen Bio-enzyme Vinegar
• 3 tablespoon Biogreen OxyLemon Enzyme
• 1 teaspoon Biogreen 84 Live Sea Salt

For marinated cucumber
• ½ medium-sized cucumber

• 3 tablespoons Biogreen Bio-enzyme Vinegar
• 1 teaspoon Biogreen 84 Live Sea Salt

For marinated cucumber
• ½ medium-sized pear

• 1 tablespoon sugar

For broth
• ½ medium-sized Korean radish, sliced

• ½ medium-sized carrot, sliced
• 2 spring onion
• 3 cloves of garlic
• 3 thin ginger slices (about 1 inch round)
• 1 large shallots
• 2 teaspoon Biogreen G-seasoning
• 3 tablespoons Biogreen Bio-enzyme Vinegar
• 3 tablespoon Biogreen OxyLemon Enzyme
• Biogreen 84 Live Sea Salt to taste 

Preparation method:-

Marinated radish
1. Clean the radish by scrubbing with a brush and/or scratching off the stubborn impurities with a knife.
2. Cut the radish crosswise into 2 to 3 inch pieces if long. Place cut side down and slice lengthwise as thin as you can. Gather the slices and cut into about 3/4-inch strips.
3. Add the Biogreen Bio-enzyme Vinegar, Biogreen OxyLemon Enzyme, and Biogreen 84 Live Sea Salt. Mix well by hand until the salt is dissolved, cover and marinate in fridge overnight.

Marinated cucumber
1. Slice the cucumber thinly and sprinkle with salt, let stand for an hour.
2. Add the Biogreen Bio-enzyme Vinegar and Biogreen 84 Live Sea Salt. Mix well by hand until the salt is dissolved, cover and marinate in fridge overnight.

Marinated pear
1. Slice the pear thinly and sprinkle with sugar and marinate in fridge overnight.

Naengmyeon
1. [Broth] Bring the radish, ½ medium-sized Korean radish, spring onion, garlic, ginger slices, shallots, Biogreen G-seasoning and Biogreen 84 Live Sea Salt to boil for 1 hour.
2. Mix the broth with Biogreen Bio-enzyme Vinegar and Biogreen OxyLemon Enzyme in a bowl. Put in the freezer for 2-3 hours until slushy.
3. Boil the Biogreen Longevity noodles in a large pot for a few minutes. Rinse in cold water a couple of times and drain.
4. Put the noodles in a large serving bowl.
5. Pour the cold slushy broth over the noodles.
6. Add the marinated, marinated cucumber, marinated pear and carrots.
7. Sprinkle some toasted sesame seeds and chilies over top and serve immediately.
