Foamy Black Sugar Soya Milk Tea

Everyone is probably crazy with milk tea, especially those topped with cheesy milk cap. However when thinking twice, the idea of gaining fat is even crazier!

Would you like to enjoy milk cap milk tea but do not like the consequences? Try out this foamy black sugar soya milk tea at home and get the surprising benefit from it too! 

Preparation Time: 30 minutes
Yield:  3 servings

For soya milk cap
• 3 tbsp Biogreen O’Kid High Protein Organic Soya Milk Powder
• 6 tbsp warm water
• 3 tsp soya lecithin

For brown sugar syrup
• 75g organic whole cane sugar
• 30ml purified water

For soya milk tea
• 3 black tea pack
• 6 tbsp Biogreen O’Soy Plus  Organic Soya Milk Powder (Low Cane Sugar)
• 600 ml purified water

Preparation Method:
For soya milk cap
1. Using a milk frother or food processor, foam the soya milk and soya lecithin until they become thick and foamy.

For brown sugar syrup
1. Dissolve brown sugar in water in a pot, and cook until the water has been reduced and the liquid become thicker.
2. Set aside to cool.

For soya milk tea
1. Simmer tea bag with boiling water for few minutes, and remove the tea bag.
2. Dissolve soya milk powder in the tea and cool the soya milk tea in a refrigerator.
3. Drizzle brown sugar syrup around the wall of glass, pour in the cooled soya milk tea and finally top with the soya milk cap.

Health Tips:
 Compared with normal milk tea sold at beverage store, this version provides the creamy mouthfeel from soya milk but with lower fat content. Besides, caramelised brown sugar gives a hint of aroma without adding too much sweetness to this beverage.
