Ingredients:-
- 250 grams chana dhal, soaked
- 1 onion, sliced
- 1 red tomato, sliced
- 1 potato, peeled, chopped
- 1 carrot, peeled, chopped
- 1 Indian aubergine, chopped
- 3 garlic cloves, chopped
- 2 shallots, chopped
- 2 dried chilli peppers
- 2 curry leaf stalks
- 2 tablespoons turmeric powder
- 2 teaspoons curry powder
- 2 tablespoons Biogreen O’Kid High Protein Organic Soya Milk Powder
- 1 tablespoon Biogreen Organic Extra Virgin Golden Flaxseed Oil
- 2 scoops Biogreen Phyto-Essence
- 1 tablespoon grated ginger
- Biogreen 100% Organic Virgin Coconut Oil
- Biogreen 84 Live Sea Salt (Fine) to taste
- Etblisse Organic Unrefined Coconut Sugar to taste
- Pepper to taste
Preparation Method:-
1. Soak the chana dal for at least 6 hours and set aside.
2. Fry onions until golden brown at medium heat using coconut oil. Set aside the fried onions.
3. Using the same pan, fry shallots, garlic and ginger until fragrant.
4. Add tomato slices and cover with lid to allow tomatoes to soften.
5. Add the remaining ingredients and water into the pot and bring the mixture to a boil.
6. Once it boils, change to low heat simmer for 30 minutes or until the dhal softens. Keep stirring from time to time.
7. Add salt and pepper to taste.
8. Stir in fried onions and flaxseed oil, serve hot.
