Onde Onde, a popular Nyonya kuih in Malaysia, are small, round balls made of sweet potato flour with a filling of palm sugar, or gula melaka.
Yield: 24-28 rice balls

Ingredients:-
Green Rice Balls
• 60g glutinous rice flour
• 30g tapioca starch
• 2 tablespoons Biogreen Raw Honey
• 80ml pandan juice (blend 5 large pandan leaves with 80ml purified water and filter)
• 20g palm sugar (gula melaka), chopped into small pieces
Purple Rice Balls
• 60g glutinous rice flour
• 30g tapioca starch
• 2 tablespoons Biogreen Raw Honey
• 2 tablespoons Etblisse Emil a2 (mixed with 80ml purified water)
• 20g palm sugar (gula melaka), chopped into small pieces
Toppings
• 100g grated coconut
• ¼ teaspoon Biogreen 84 Live Sea Salt (Fine)
Preparation Method:-
1. Mix grated coconut with sea salt and steam the mixture for 15 to 20 minutes.
2. Prepare the green rice balls by mixing glutinous rice flour and tapioca starch in a bowl. Stir in honey and pandan juice, mix together until it forms a kneadable ball of dough. If the dough is too soft, add more glutinous rice flour. Repeat this step to prepare purple rice balls.
3. Divide the dough into little balls. Flatten the dough slightly and fill each one with a piece of palm sugar. Close it up and roll into a sphere.
4. Bring a pot of water to a boil and cook the rice balls in the boiling water. When they float to the surface, remove them and shake off the excess water.
5. Coat the rice balls with grated coconut. Let cool and ready to serve.
