Coco Sesame Ice Cream

A vegan-friendly, aromatic Coco Sesame Ice Cream made with black sesame, soya milk and coconut oil. Try this fun and easy-to-make ice cream that your kids will sure to love on a hot day!


Preparation Time: 15 minutes
Chilling Time: 12-15 hours (Overnight)
Yield: 12

•½ cup full-fat coconut milk
•½ cup Biogreen 100% Virgin Coconut Oil (chilled before use)
•1 cup sweetened soya milk [made by adding 3 tablespoons Biogreen O’Soy Plus Organic Soya Milk Powder (Low Cane Sugar) in 200ml warm water]
•80g Biogreen 100% Pure Black Sesame Powder
•1 teaspoon vanilla paste
•Pinch of Biogreen 84 Live Sea Salt (Fine)
•Almond flakes (optional)

Preparation Method:-
1. In a medium bowl, add hot water a little at a time until the black sesame forms a thick paste. Set aside.
2. Using a mixer, whisk the coconut milk and coconut oil until creamy and smooth. Then mix in soya milk, black sesame paste, salt and vanilla paste. Whip at high speed until fully incorporated.
3. Transfer to a parchment-lined freezer-safe container and cover loosely with plastic wrap, then foil to help freezing.
4. Freeze overnight for a firmer ice cream.
5. Set out for at least 10 minutes prior to scooping. Sprinkle with almond flakes before serving.
