Are your kids ready to go back to school? Are they feeling worried, excited or scared? Back-to-school time is tough not just for kids, but it can be hard for parents too. Here are some back-to- school tips to make your child’s transition into the new school year, an easy one!

Studies have shown that a nutritious breakfast is important for children’s mental performance.

Choose a right backpack with a padded back and two wide, padded shoulder straps. Backpacks can strain body muscles if they are used incorrectly.

3.	Children require supervision especially during early and middle childhood.

4.	Getting sufficient sleep is vital for a child to be successful in school.

Screen time before bed is bad for children.

Establish a good environment that is quiet and free from distractions for your children to study and do homework.

Plan a homework schedule for your children that include ample time to participate in after school activities like dancing, sports, music and arts.

Never finish a child’s homework for him/her. Be ready to answer questions and offer assistance or seek for a tutor if required.
