5-Ingredient Wheat Germ Tortilla Wrap


There’s nothing better than a homemade warm and soft tortilla to start your day. 

We are elevating the kitchen game today by enriching your typical tortilla with  nutrient-dense, Finnish wheat germ flakes for better nutritional and aroma profiles. Ingredients:

Cooking Instructions: 

  1.  In a large bowl combine the flour, wheat germ flakes, baking powder and sea salt, and mix well.
  2.  Make a well in the centre of dry ingredients and pour in water and oil.
  3.  Stir well until the dough had come together and begin to form a shaggy ball.
  4.  Turn the dough to a lightly floured surface and knead for 1-2 minutes until the dough is nice and smooth.
  5.  Divide the dough into 10-15 equal potions, and flatten with the palm of your hands.
  6.  Cover the flatten doughs with a wet towel and let them rest for 1 hour at room temperature.
  7.  Once rested, roll each dough until they have stretched out to make large thin circle.
  8.  Heat a skillet pan at medium heat for at least 5 minutes before adding your fist tortilla.
  9.  Cook tortilla for 1-2 minutes for each side until the surface had bubbled and turned brown.
  10.  Stack each cooked tortilla together and cover with a dry towel to prevent them getting hard and crisp.
  11.  Enjoy these right away or store extra wrap in the freezer up to 1 month in a zip lock bag.

材料:

烹调方式: 

  1.  在一个大碗,倒入面粉、小麦胚芽、泡打粉及海盐搅拌均匀。
  2.  加入油及水,再次搅拌直至成团。
  3.  桌面撒上一层薄薄的面粉,把面团移到桌面搓1至2分钟直至表面光滑。
  4.  把面团切割成10至15等小份,搓圆后再用手掌轻轻压扁。
  5.  用一块湿布覆盖在小面团上,置放室温醒面一小时。
  6.  之后,使用擀棍将小团擀至一片片圆形的薄片。
  7.  把平底锅加热,置入薄片双面煎至出现斑纹点(一面大约煎1至2分钟)即可取出。
  8.  依次将所有薄片煎熟。将所有煎熟后的薄饼叠放在一起,再用一块干净的布覆盖以免它们被风干后变硬。
  9.  立即享用新鲜出炉的薄饼或将剩余的冷冻起来以方便下次再取出加热食用。
